Learn to Meditate Video Course from teaching balance: Session 7 of 7
(the big Finish!)
They say you can't have new beginnings without the endings, but this final session feels bittersweet. Before I describe today's culminating practice, I want to extend an invitation for you to continue practicing with me. There is more information at the bottom of this email, but in short, one option is to download the audio recordings of the Core Practices, and the other option is to become a Full Member. Take a peek at the info below the video, and know that as someone who has participated in this online course, you have the opportunity to enjoy either of these options for 50% off the regular price.
The final new practice that you will learn about today is the Open Awareness practice. Sometimes referred to as "just sitting," or shikantaza in the Zen tradition, this practice is an exercise in just being aware of our moment to moment experience without necessarily focusing on an anchor or any one thing.
Once you've tried Open Awareness practice, you will have had the opportunity to try seven different approaches to meditation. I suggest exploring them all and finding which ones resonate most strongly with you so that you may continue with your practice. And, as always, if you ever have any questions, feel free to email me at Kristin@TeachingBalance.com.
