They say you can't have new beginnings without the endings, but this final session feels bittersweet.  Before I describe today's culminating practice, I want to extend an invitation for you to continue practicing with me.  

The final new practice that you will learn about today is the Open Awareness practice.  Sometimes referred to as "just sitting," or shikantaza in the Zen tradition, this practice is an exercise in just being aware of our moment to moment experience without necessarily focusing on an anchor or any one thing.
